NMHH-BME TMIT Scholarship Call

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

for higher education study scholarship support

 

The Department of Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence (TMIT) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), in cooperation with the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH), is issuing a call for applications for full-time students at BME’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (VIK) enrolled in the Engineering Informatics BSc and Electrical Engineering BSc programs.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • At least two successfully completed active semesters
    (Proof: a printed copy of the academic record from Neptun for the last two completed semesters)
  • Outstanding academic performance
    (Proof: a printed copy of the academic record from Neptun for the last two completed semesters)
  • Proof of student status for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year
    (Proof: a certificate of student status issued by the Student Office)

Preferred Qualifications:

1.         Language:

  • Possession of an intermediate or advanced English language exam certificate
    (Proof: copy of language exam certificate(s))

2.         Specialization:

  • TMIT major or minor specialization
    (Proof: printed certificate from Neptun)

3.         Thesis:

  • Thesis topic chosen in the field of infocommunications at NMHH, with an external supervisor provided by the authority.

4.         Szakmai tevékenység:

  • Submission of a report on additional professional activities undertaken by the applicant (e.g., TDK work, participation in case study competitions, involvement in departmental teaching or research, participation in other competitions, etc.)
    (Proof: professional activity report)
  • Mandatory: Professional internship at NMHH.

  • Brief professional CV (including applicant’s personal details, Neptun code, permanent address, email, and phone number)
  • Motivation letter
  • Declaration allowing the application materials to be reviewed by the participants involved in the selection process

Scholarship Amount: HUF 40,000 per month
Application Deadline: 16 September 2025
Expected Evaluation Date: 29 September 2025
Scholarship Duration: one semester
