Objective:
An increasing number of telecommunication (mobile, satellite) and remote sensing systems use wireless connections. The research, development and operation of systems require knowledge of antennas and wave propagation, the main task of the course is to provide this knowledge in the depth required for application and radio network design. The material contains the necessary knowledge of frequency management and the principles of EMC apply in its approach. A further aim of the course is to acquaint students with the latest trends and achievements in antenna development. The course introduces the theory of imaging and measurement that can be implemented with radio waves. Provides systematic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of microwave remote sensing. It presents the main areas of use of microwave images (air traffic control, environmental protection, geology, flood protection, agriculture, archeology, etc.)
