Objective:
The aim of the course is to present and extend the measurement tools of the specialty subjects in the fields of EMC, radar and optical measurement. The set goals can be divided into four groups: basics of computer-based measurement control, measurement data collection and processing; examination of certain elements and equipment of radio frequency and optical transmission paths (power line, antenna, cable TV headend); presentation of a practical example of the operation and implementation of pulsed and FMCW radar in connection with optical and RF power line measurement; students will gain insight into the most important electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements in the field of conducted and radiated disturbances, get acquainted with the requirements and limits of the radio frequency EMC standards, the related measurement arrangements and measuring instruments.
