Objective:
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the operation of high-frequency and microwave circuits that form the basis of modern wireless communications, to master their design methods, computer simulation and measurement techniques. In the course of the course, students get acquainted with the properties of distributed parameter networks, review the classical building blocks of microwave technology, and master the methods of circuit analysis / circuit synthesis important in microwave practice. The course builds on the use of state-of-the-art computer-aided microwave design programs in the industry and provides an introduction to certain special areas of digital signal processing that are widely used in digital radio implementations.
